Jeannie Gedeon, MPH, RD is a nutrition therapist who specializes in counseling for eating and weight issues and is an expert in the treatment of eating disorders. She is the Nutrition Manager of the Renfrew Center of New York. Her private practice is in Long Hill Township. Nutrition therapy includes treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, compulsive and binge eating, obesity, food addiction and other "disordered" eating, and food problems encountered in response to recovery from substance addictions. Jeannie's office is a 5-10 minute drive from Basking Ridge, Warren and Watchung; 15 minutes from Bridgewater, Chatham, Scotch Plains and Summit; <20 minutes from Morristown, Short Hills, Somerville and Westfield. The support group Ms. Gedeon co-facilitates is one of EDANJ's professionally run support groups. It takes place the 1st Sunday of every month from 10-11:30 AM at Summit Medical Group in Berkeley Heights.
